The crowdfunding campaign for The One Ring‘s latest expansion, Moria: Through The Doors Of Durin, wrapped up last September with an impressive haul. Over one million dollars was raised for the expansion and sixteen stretch goals were met. But if you missed all that, publisher Free League has decided to give you a second chance. They’ve opened a page for late pledgers to secure what will be the last time campaign-exclusive items are offered.
For long ages, the great city of the Dwarrowdelf was the seat of Dwarven kings, and they were rich beyond measure in gold and Mithril. But a thousand years ago, Durin’s Bane arose and drove the Dwarves from their halls. The city fell into darkness, becoming an abode of Orcs, Goblins – and worse. Countless Orcs perished in the Battle of Five Armies. Maybe the Halls of Durin lie empty once more. Maybe there are piles of treasure there, waiting to be claimed. Maybe Mithril still glimmers in the mines under Caradhras. Cross the dread threshold, adventurer, and delve deep!
Two versions of Moria will be produced: one for The One Ring, which runs on Free League’s engine, and one for Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying, the One Ring variant which is 5E compatible
