Invincible : Guarding the Globe is a great distraction while waiting for the Season 2 of Invincible. Fans of the comics, Casuals and Critics loved this show. In a world where most American animation uses the Calarts art style, this show breaks the cycle. Invincible gives as the 1980s art style but with the modern animation of DC animated movies and Shonen anime. Amazon Prime has not given any release date but they promised it will be in Late 2023. This Steven Yeun starrer is one of the top shows of Amazon Prime. I warn parents though, this is not for kids. It is one of the most violent and gruesome adult animation I had ever seen.
The road to season 2 is still very far so Ubisoft made this Mobile game. Invincible : Guarding the Globe is an original story set on the show’s universe. It is probably not canon but it is still interesting as the trailer captures the essence of the show.
In the ruins of a city devastated by alien attacks, Invincible, Atom Eve, and Monster Girl had just fought off an entire army of Flaxans. They thought the battle was finally over when, out of nowhere, a clone of Monster Girl launched an unexpected attack against her. At first, Monster Girl managed to hold her own against her clone, but soon she found herself struggling to keep up.
While Invincible and Atom Eve attempted to come to her aid, they were ambushed by clones of themselves. The situation seemed dire, with multiple clones relentlessly attacking our heroes. However, as the battle raged on, the unexpected truth was revealed, it was all part of an Idle RPG game designed for mobile devices.
Indeed, this game will soon be available for both Android and iOS platforms. Although some may have preferred a full AAA console game, the graphics and gameplay of this mobile version are impressive for a mobile game.
