Gen V is the latest spin off Amazon Prime Video’s biggest hit, The Boys. The show currently have 3 seasons and it has an animated spin off. Now we get to see more of the Vought universe. We know the Superheroes from this universe are like manufactured products. So all of them got trained to be the next big superhero. Imagine this show as a more violent version of My Hero Academia.
Colby Minifie who plays Ashley in the mainseries reprises her role. The Adult Supes in the main show like Homelander, Soldier Boy and Stormfront are already scary. What could be scarier than them? Hormanal,Teenaged and college aged Supes. People are more careless when they are younger, Just imagine if they have Super Powers that they could use unresponsibly.
Patrick Schwarzenegger originally auditioned to play Homelander but he is too young to play Him. I am Glad he didn’t get the role because no one else deserves to play Homelander but Antony Starr.
After the success of the Boys he got offered a role for this series. The name of the characters are not revealed but I can warn everyone not to be attached to any of them. Why? The show seemed to have the format of a Battle Royale scripted Reality Show.
Every young and aspiring superhero will want to be under the management of Vought Enterprises. If you are a Vought Superhero you are set for life. As long as you won’t be a PR Disaster like The Deep or Stormfront, You will be fine. Welcome to Gen V where you will see these aspiring Supes do everything by hook or by crook to get the life changing contracts. Some of these young Hero aspirants will cross the line get the life changing contract.
