Faerie Afterlight Comes To Switch And Steam

Publisher Mastiff and developer Clay Game Studio have released a full gameplay trailer for their title Faerie Afterlight, which should arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC sometime within the next week, if not today.

In the broken world of Lumina lives teapot-shaped Kimo and Navi-like Whispy, two creatures that are literally inseparable. They will have to rely on each other to repair Lumina one step at a time in this 2D Metroidvania exploration title. Whispy has the power to physically change the environment by moving platforms and walls to different positions. As for the other one, Kimo has to earn their power-ups through defeating boss creatures…but you’ll get some impressive abilities for your hard work!

• Manipulate Your Environment
  Use Wispy’s ability to move walls, platforms, and dead ends while Kimo bounces off each surface.
• Friend or Foe?
  Some – but not all – enemies can be befriended.
• Myriad Terrains
  Hidden doors, secret nooks, and covered passages abound. Unlock every inch of this vast world’s forests, cerulean seas, and graceful ruins.
• Grow Stronger
  Overcome corrupted Titans to gain powerful new abilities and be granted access to new areas of Lumina. Cling to walls with Spider’s Legs, dash with the Beetle’s Horn, and more!
