DC Unveils Panels ‘N Plans For NYCC 2026

With New York Comic-Con (NYCC) fast approaching, DC Comics has laid out a preview of their full presence at the con this year: a larger booth, big panels and many con exclusives.

DC got this larger booth by buying two booths. The bulk of their offerings will be at Booth #4365, which will feature DC Shop exclusives, author and artist signings, a Daily Planet newsstand recreation and exclusive material like a free reproduction copy of MAD #1. Right next door, Booth #4657 will be taken up entirely by DC’s new 360° cosplay photo installation….if you come dressed as a DC hero or villain, here’s where to find your backdrop. Or you can just come as you are.

The DC Shop at NYCC will be selling con-exclusive variant covers of Absolute Batman #1, Absolute Wonder Woman #1, and Absolute Superman #1 with new art by Bill Sienkiewicz. Other covers will differ only in the fact that they’re printed on foil paper, and there’s a long list of those: Absolute Catwoman #1 by Ben Oliver, Absolute Green Arrow #1 by Jeff Spokes, Lanterns #1 Special Edition by Ryan Benjamin, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1 by Leirix, Batman #1 by Mahmud Asrar, Lobo #1 by Dan Panosian, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 by Frank Miller, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: The Metal Legion #1 by Min Ho Kim, and apparently more they didn’t mention. Hope you like foil because that’s a lot of foil.

Five separate DC panels are scheduled to occur throughout the con, with subjects like Vertigo, Black Label, Next Level, and the Teen Titans YA books by Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo. DC president, publisher, and chief creative officer Jim Lee will get his own panel called “Jim Lee And Friends” where big new announcements for future DC titles will be made. DC’s Vertigo + Black Label Panel
