It was bound to happen — Jon Kent is starring in his OWN BOOK! In this six-issue series he’s tasked with stopping Ultraman from killing off various versions of his father throughout the multiverse! The first issue, written by Tom Taylor with art by Clayton Henry, will appear on our planet March 7.
Writer Christopher Priest brings us the tale of Superman: Lost. The Man of Steel has returned from a mission in space — with amnesia! Even though he was absent a brief period, he was actually stuck in space for 20 years, and it affected his mind. This story isn’t about the Earth…it’s about Lois, who is desperate to find something that will bring her husband’s memories back, or she could lose him. The first of ten issues will debut March 14.
You thought Lazarus Planet was over. There’s one more story to tell, and the first two halves of it are coming out in March. The gods of the multiverse have come to destroy the heroes of the DCU, and only Wonder Woman and Shazam stand against them. Lazarus Planet: Revenge of the Gods #1 will be released March 14; issue #2 will come out two weeks later on March 28.
The Doom Patrol TV series (which is excellent) probably doesn’t have much longer to live, but it’s not like there isn’t any other material with Robotman, Crazy Jane and Rita Farr out there. Here’s a new one: Unstoppable Doom Patrol, a six-issue book set after the events of Lazarus Planet. The event created quite a few new misfits, but the Patrol has just room for two. Find out who they are!
There’s just one Batman: One Bad Day story left: Ra’s Al Ghul’s. Ra’s is tired of Batman always getting in his way and ruining his plans to “save” the world by conquering it. So he’s formulating the perfect plot to destroy Batman for good. Since these books aren’t called One GOOD Day, however, this isn’t likely to end well for Ra’s. This 64-page story will be released March 21.
Finally, Harley Quinn shreds the whole multiverse concept in Multiversity, a satirical six-issue book that begins March 14. Some fool gave her a time machine and now she’s using it to do whatever crazy thing she wants, tearing apart time and space.
