Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, A Spin-off that is much more better than videogame?

-

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an Anime spin-off of the controversial video game, Cyberpunk 2077. Rather than adapting the events from the game, This Anime is an in-universe spin-off. Before the controversies of releasing a buggy game, There was so much hype for the game because of the trailer innovation, and Keanu Reeves was a cast member. It sold around 18 million copies in its first 15 months.

So, the financial success is enough justification for making this Anime. Since the player customizes the game’s main character specifically for them, the plot is not adaptable. They choose a new story set in the same universe as a replacement.

The one that shares the universe with this Anime is also known for nudity. I mean, you can even customize your character’s genital size and appearance. So it won’t be a shocker if you will see sex and nudity in the trailer. Do not watch at work and in the presence of your family. You do not want your mom or toddler relative to see you watching this trailer.

David Martinez is a homeless street urchin who manages to make it through the dangerous streets. He lives in a time when individuals are fixated on enhancing themselves using cybernetic enhancements. Who can blame them, considering cybernetics can make a person more powerful, intelligent, swift, and tough? An enhanced human has the potential to live for a more extended period than a natural person. He decided to become an Edgerunner so he could get away from the hell he was living in. David turned himself into a Mercenary called Cyberpunk even if it meant he would shed a chunk of his humanity.

The trailer offers what kind of series they will be and looks edge, cool and mature. You cannot watch this anime around kids. The people behind the game are so confident about this anime’s success that content from this series will become DLC for the game.
