Creed III – Rocky’s Apprentice continues his fights

Creed III is the third movie in the Creed Trilogy and the Ninth film in the Rocky Franchise.The absence of Sylvester Stallone from this film marks a first for the Rocky series. According to Stallone, Rocky’s story arc is over, and now it’s Creed’s turn to carry on the saga. Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of Adonis Creed in the previous Creed movies has proven to be successful on its own. It is time for Rocky’s Apprentice and Apollo Creed’s son to make his own mark in the cinema. Some familiar faces from past movies are going to reprise their roles like Tessa ThompsonFlorian MunteanuJonathan MajorsWood Harris, and Phylicia Rashad.

Aside from playing the titular character, This is Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut!

We had Seen Adonis” Donnie” Creed defeat some of his toughest opponents, including Viktor Drago(Florian Munteanu), The son of his father’s killer. He are now friendly rivals with mutual respect. Donnie is living his best life as he wins championships after championships. His personal life is also thriving. For seven years his life is full of bliss and victories.

A rival from his past is going to comeback to haunt him. Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) was his childhood friend who was a boxing prodigy. He had all the potential in the world but he never get to reach it because of Donnie. He spend half of his life in prison while his friend gets to have the life he always wanted. Creed felt a lot guilt for what he have done to Damian so he helped him to get back to his feet. Damian gets to have a boxing career thanks to former traitor. He didn’t know he ends up creating a monster. Creed must fight his old friend  in the ring to let go of the ghost of the past.

You can watch Creed III next year this coming March 3, 2023.
