Back when the indie dev scene was first starting to take off, BIT.TRIP was an early hit. It popularized the idea of an endless runner where your moves were timed to the beat of the soundtrack — a “rhythm platformer” is what developer Choice Provisions calls it. Now BIT.TRIP is back with a fresh installment that adds a feature no one’s seen before.

BIT.TRIP Rerunner not only introduces new levels, new mechanics and a bopping new soundtrack, but the feature RUNNER MAKER. With this level creation editor, anyone can make their own BIT.TRIP levels and share them, making the actual number of new levels in this game closer to infinity.
