The Assassin’s Creed series had made us travel back in time from different periods like the Crusades, Victorian era, Ancient Egypt, Civil War United States, Roman empire, and now the last legs of the Viking era. The main protagonist is Eivor. He is the war chief of the Raven Clan.

The game starts with Valhalla, a Viking Settlement in England. In this game, you can make alliances with any of the four Kingdoms of England, Assassinate rivals, and fight wars. Replay value is guaranteed with this game because your decision can lead to multiple routes that will affect the ending of the game. The game has an open world where you can make side quests aside from pursuing the story.

You can feel this is a new Gen game because of the stunning graphics that are more impressive than its predecessor.
Unlike the past Assasin’s Creed that uses Parkour as part of the stealth, Valhalla doesn’t have Parkour or free running. During the Age of the Vikings, tall buildings are not that common yet. You will be outdoors most of the game.

The game has RPG elements because of all the upgrades to can have to Eivor and his settlement. As you play the game, you can upgrade Eivor’s combat ability and skills through books that he can read. Treasure hunting is also part of the game experience. You can find legendary treasures like Perseus’ shield and the Excalibur.

For the first time in the history of Assasin’s creed, You can choose the gender of the main character. Players have a choice to make Eivor a woman if they prefer a female character. You can also customize your right-hand man or general that will assist you in your battles. One of the greatest rewards you can do on this game is to discover Asgard the Kingdom where Thor came from. DLC expansions are also possible in the future and one of the possibilities is exploring the Americas or the New World.
