Zod Will Have an Altered Appearance in Batman v Superman
Based on the second trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we know that Michael Shannon will be replaying Zod in some capacity, mainly because (based on what we saw) he appeared to be in a body bag of sorts in LexCorp. However, it appears that Zod won’t just be physically in the movie, but he’ll be getting a change of sorts to his form. Most fans have expected Lex himself to experiment on Zod and somehow create Doomsday (which would unite the Trinity to fight him), but Michael Shannon recently told Vulture:
“I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands. So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder, the director] being like, ‘Where’s Shannon? Where the f**k is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, ‘Let me out of here!’”
So according to Shannon, his form is altered to where he gets flippers. Again, in context of what’s actually happening this could make sense. We will just have to wait and see. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25, 2016
