If you paid any attention to Nintendo fans during the Wii era, you likely heard about Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros’ Treasure. Developed by Capcom, it was praised as one of the few Wii third-party games to not use the Wii remote in a gimmicky or unnecessary way. Generally, it was known as “the best game no one played,” since everyone spoke well of it yet its sales were never very hot.
Don’t make the same mistake twice. Zack & Wiki will be on sale again when it comes to the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow. It’s only the ninth Wii title to make it to Wii U digitally, and it will cost $19.99. Currently the disc version is cheaper on eBay, but most of the copies are European.
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 will also be available starting tomorrow. If you think the regular Mario 3 is superior, think again: this release will include all the bonus levels created just for the GBA version that you couldn’t access without the giant bulky eReader peripheral. Not many people actually had one and these levels will be new for a lot of you. They’ll also be accessible right from the menu, so you can get to them right away! The GBA Super Mario 3 will be $7.99.
