Zack Snyder Talks Justice League
In case you didn’t see, the first (or second depending on how you look at it) trailer for Justice League has arrived, you can view it below.
With it comes our first true look at the team interacting with each other, battling Parademons, and of course, giving us teases for what we can expect in the film. Director Zack Snyder talked with USA Today about the trailer and the film, and gave some interesting insights into everything. For example, he notes that the importance of the movie isn’t just that it’s happening, but that for many of these characters, this is their true live-action debut.
“The thing that’s awesome about these icons” he told USA Today, “is that a lot of them we haven’t seen in the movies before on the big screen.”
Yes, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman (via BVS and her solo film that comes out before Justice League) have had time on the big screen, but Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg haven’t, and this film will give each a time to shine.
“You have Jason stomping around as this inked hairy man, just this mythic figure,” Snyder said. “And you’ve got Ezra, who’s full of life and hilarious and all over the place and amazing — a really fun and also poignant Flash. And Ray’s story is in a lot of the ways the heart of the movie.”
Buzz for the trailer is very positive, and if it continues, and Wonder Woman does well, then Warner Bros. can expect a big turnout when it arrives this November.
