WWE ’13 Teaser Trailer and Release Date Leaked Online
One of THQ’s big E3 announcements was prematurely revealed online.
It looks as though THQ’s plans to reveal their newest WWE ’13 trailer and details at E3 on Monday have been suplexed from the top rope this weekend.
The first trailer for THQ’s WWE ’13 was leaked on the Internet this weekend before they could reveal it at E3. The trailer features live “real” footage of the superstars of the WWE universe mixed in with some gameplay snippets and ends with a tentative release date of November 1 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
The gameplay footage, short as it may be, reveals a few things:
- It looks as though the newest version will include the ability to break the ring with top rope maneuvers.
- Current superstars including CM Punk, Mark Henry, Chris Jericho, and Sheamus all appear in the video as to be expected, but the addition wrestlers of yore such as Mankind, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker and the old school barricade that Mankind is tackled through suggests that the grappling gameplay should include a healthy portion of retro wrestling features.
THQ is expected to officially confirm the details soon.
