Wicked Witches Getting Limited Theatrical Release
Midnight Releasing will be putting their next horror movie, Wicked Witches, on DVD and VOD platforms August 9. But on that same day, they’ll also be launching a limited theatrical run for the picture.
Ten cities will get Witched Witches on the big screen in its US tour, but the list has yet to be revealed — we only have the announcement that the theatrical release will happen. As for those witches, they look wicked all right:
The story goes that a guy named Mark was caught cheating on his wife and, in his search for a new place to live, returned to his youthful home of Dumpling Farm. As good fortune would have it, his old friend Ian still lives there and opens up a bed for him. As far worse fortune would have it….there are also man-eating witches there, and they’ve possessed Ian into doing their bidding. Ian is actually letting Mark into the farm to provide the witches with their next meal.
Wicked Witches stars Duncan Casey, Justin Marosa and Samantha Schnitzler, and was written and directed by The Pickering Brothers. It opens August 9.
After being thrown out of his home by his wife for being promiscuous, Mark finds himself back at Dumpling Farm, a place of youthful memories and parties, but things aren’t quite right. His old buddy Ian, who has never left the place, is possessed by a group demonic, flesh eating Witches. Using Ian and his farm, these beautiful Witches honey trap Mark and his friends to consume their souls.
