Watch The New Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Trailer
A few days ago The Witcher 3 was released on Nintendo Switch, sacrificing graphical fidelity and tiny details to fit itself on Nintendo’s screen. On the opposite end of that spectrum is the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, where the whole point is to blow all other versions out of the water graphics-wise.
Until now Rockstar’s just been bragging, but now they have proof. Scope out this 4K, 60FPS trailer in all its glory and see how many individual needles you can count on each cactus. The Old West has never looked so sharp.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC brings the epic story of Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang to life in breathtaking new ways – with no shortage of dazzling technical enhancements that deliver deeper immersion. These include increased draw distances, improved shadows and lighting, new grass and fur textures, and much more – complemented by a host of exciting new content additions for the game’s Story Mode.
The game will be available on pretty much everything: Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers. Steam is following behind with a December release.
Rockstar, you may have heard, has their own PC software launcher and they would rather you use that, as they wouldn’t have to pay any additional fees to whoever’s selling RDR2. So they’re opening preorders on the Rockstar Launcher first. All other services will get the chance for open preorders on October 23, but if you buy with Rockstar before then, they’ll throw in two free classic Rockstar Games PC titles along with additional pre-purchase incentives, including bonuses for Story Mode and 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online.
Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to PC November 5.
