What’s your favorite of the first eight Friday the 13th movies? I hope you didn’t say parts V or VII because we’re not talking about those!

However, all of the rest of them will be aired in one bloody marathon on Friday, March 13th on the EPIX network. Why, yes that is Friday the 13th movies on Friday the 13th. Thanks for noticing.

Yes, parts V and VII are missing, but those weren’t particularly good ones, anyway. Also, none of the newer versions are being offered. This is an all classic Jason Voorhees movie marathon. And his mother because as people tend to forget, Jason really isn’t the threat in the first one.

These films will also be offered on EPIX-On-Demand, EPIX.com and EPIX apps. EPIX also announced it will be featuring the world television premier of Transformers: Age of Extinction on March 15 at at 8 p.m. ET, if sitting through a whole day of slasher flicks isn’t horrifying enough for you.
