Valve’s Team Fortress 2 Goes Free-to-Play
Today Valve revealed that Team Fortress 2 would be going free-to-play. Now only being supported by micro-transactions. So you can buy things such as hats, crate keys, weapons, and various other goodies that can be found in the store. Apparently one of the benefits of going free-to-play is to attract more people to Steam Valve’s very own digital distribution and community service.
Meaning more money hopefully for those micro-transactions that were mentioned earlier. Unfortunately this doesn’t mean that Valve’s other games will follow the same pattern of going free to play. If you want more info on this free-to-play model be sure to visit the Team Fortress 2 FAQ.
