Unseen: Visually impaired woman’s life depends of wrong number call
Unseen is the latest horror offering from Blumhouse. Blumhouse has been on a winning streak when it comes to movies after the success of Black Phone, Sick, and M3GAN this production company had been winning in the horror genre. M3GAN alone made $160,441,035 for just a budget of 12 million. Blumhouse had mastered how to make box-office films for a fraction of the cost.
This could be a great distraction the Blumhouse’s FNAF movie, they can take on their latest offering, Unseen. It is a movie that harnesses the contemporary technology of a camera phone.
This is the biggest break of director Yoko Okumura who mostly make TV episodes.

Sam (Jolene Purdy) is your average Gas station clerk, living her mundane life. She felt Unseen as people there just want to pay for their purchases. One day in the middle of her shift, she receives a phone call from a stranger. She got a video call from a woman who is in distress. Her name is Emily (Midori Francis) and she is begging Sam to not hang up the call.
With her glasses off, visually impaired Emily is completely blind. Currently, she is being pursued by her ex-boyfriend who has a singular objective. He wants to Kill her. Emily’s safety relies on Sam’s eyes and ears. With the help of the camera, Sam can help to evade her murderous ex and cross all obstacles so she can escape.
Their long-distance team-up is working so well for Emily’s Survival but Sam’s phone goes low. Without her voice, she cannot help poor Emily to evade her assailant. So out of desperation, Sam will steal the phone from a Karen-like customer named Carol. (Missi Pyle). Now Sam is in danger too because Carol will resort to violence just to get her phone back.
