Uncharted Looks Better Than Ever in The Nathan Drake Collection
The release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is still some months away. However, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection launches next month, and it will feature the first three classic PlayStation 3 games of the franchises upgraded and remastered for the PlayStation 4. Sony PlayStation and Naughty Dog have released a new video online to give fans a sample of how the new game will run on the PlayStation 4, and you can check out that video below.
The Nathan Drake Collection will feature various improvements in the game’s lighting, rendering texture mapping and dynamic audio for all three previously released Uncharted better. If this video is any indication, than the Uncharted series has never looked better. While the multiplayer campaigns will not be available, players will get to have fun with the Photo Mode tools built into the new collection. Considering this game originally came out in 2007, what the Naughty Dog here has done with sprucing up the original game looks rather impressive. The game looks practically brand-new now.
The sequence shows Drake being held captive at an abandoned prison by the pirate Eddy Raja. Drake is then forced to escape in a white-knuckle truck chase. In addition, the Nathan Drake Collection will not just be a great way to re-live the original classic games on the PlayStation 4, but it will also provide exclusive access to the Multiplayer Beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection arrives on the PlayStation 4 on October 9.
