Travel Down Autumn Road November 23
So Gravitas Ventures and The Last Motel, the folks behind the upcoming VOD horror flick Autumn Road, are aware the movie is a bit late. It’s obviously meant to capitalize on the Halloween season, but will end up missing it by nearly a month. At least it made it under the tag for its title to still make sense — it will still technically be autumn.
Ten years ago, a young girl disappeared while trick-or-treating on Halloween night. In the present day, her sister has returned to the small town where it happened, to put her traumatic past to rest. Of course, that’s not how it goes down. She meets two identical twins who run the village’s haunted house — fortunately, ONE of them isn’t evil, but UNfortunately, that means the other is. As the anniversary of her sister’s disappearance approaches, she starts feeling a connection to her and begins uncovering the truth. The trick is to live long enough to solve this mystery completely.
Autumn Road stars Lorelei Linklater (Boyhood, Bomb City), Justin Meeks (Kill Or Be Killed, Butcher Boys), Lar Park Lincoln (Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood), and Riley Cusick, who plays both twins and also wrote and directed the movie. It was produced by Xander McCabe and Eric Floyd and Mark Schultz served as executive producers.

With nowhere else to go, she is drawn deeper and deeper into their world of scares, secrets, and enchanting house of horrors. While one twin pulls her closer, the other’s threats and scare tactics escalate to a breaking point where he must decide what lines he’s willing to cross. At the same time, her connection with her sister is growing as she starts to unearth new information about who she was and what happened that night all those years ago. The three haunted souls soon find themselves on a melancholic journey for truth set against the backdrop of an approaching Halloween season and the anniversary of her sister’s disappearance.
