Tickets Now On Sale For The Latest Demon Slayer Movie
Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll are teaming up again to bring Tanjiro’s newest adventures to the big screen. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- is the title of a new feature film that will be released in US theaters soon. Your first question might be, “Is there really another Demon Slayer movie so soon?” Yes and no. It’s complicated.
Note that we say “movie” in only the loosest sense. To The Swordsmith Village consists of episodes 10 and 11 of the series’ Entertainment District Arc, along with an extended cut of Episode 1 of the Swordsmith Village Arc. While the latter episode isn’t technically out yet, you may have already seen most of this feature. This really exists because Mugen Train made so much money that the studio behind it had to see if they could get more.
Those who live in SoCal might want to know this feature will have a special one-night-only advanced screening at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on February 18. Natsuki Hanae, the Japanese voice of main character Tanjiro Kamado, is scheduled to appear along with Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi and a live performance by Aimer as part of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- will run in US theaters on March 3. Tickets are on sale now.
