The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt wowed both fans and reviewers alike with it’s large, almost near endless, realm where they could literally go do anything they wanted, without even having to touch the main story. Add to that lots of characters interactions, combat options, and more, and the game was deserving of all the sales it got.
Now, CD Projekt Red has announced via press release the the first true expansion for the game will come out on October 10th, and will be called The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone. This impressive expansion will include over 10 hours of gameplay and missions. Which will have new characters to interact with, including a new romance for Geralt. New monsters to find, fight, capture, etc. A new Runeworlds system, and more!
Hearts of Stone will see:
“Geralt hired to defeat a bandit captain called Olgierd von Everec – a man who possesses the power of immortality. You’ll apparently be able to recruit a crew of break-in artists, party with a ghost and meet a host of new and bizarre creatures.”
Also though, there will be a limited box release for The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone. This edition will have a digital code for the game, and two decks of Gwent cards for you to enjoy.
