The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game, An asymmetrical horror game with more than one killer
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is another asymmetrical horror game that competes against Dead by Daylight. Dead By Daylight continues to be undefeated in this genre despite all attempts to make competition. Games like Friday The 13th, Last Year , Re: Resistance, and Home Sweet Home: Survive tried but they failed. Fans claimed those games will be the next Dead by Daylight. Well, it never happened. One biggest disadvantage of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game, Leather Face is already a playable killer in Dead By Daylight. So Why play this new title if the main killer of this game is already playable there?
Well first the graphics of this game is way superior and second, it is 3 vs 4. In Dead by Daylight, If you are the killer main, You are at a disadvantage because you have 4 people against you and if they have good team chemistry, you are screwed.
If you enjoyed Friday the 13th: Game, While it lasted, this game is created by the same developers. This Survival game gives Leatherface two teammates. Bubba is part of a family, and some of his infamous family members from the movies will be here.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game gameplay
In Dead by Daylight, If you are not a killer player, You are playing Survivor. The Survivor Equivalent in this game is the Victims. Bubba is also more fit in this game, He is pudgy in Dead by Daylight.
The Victims
I was expecting movie characters like Sally or Erin but this game decided to go with original characters. Maybe if the game is successful enough, the movie characters might make it. Based on how they dress, they are from the 1970s so this game has the same timeline as the original movie rather than the remakes and reboots.
Victim players with a bad team rapport can lead to a nightmare scenario of one survivor dealing with three Slaughter family members. The Victims are unable to kill the assailants so escaping and running will be the only way to Survive.
