The Recruit is coming to Netflix this December 16, 2022. This Spy adventure series could be the game changer to Noah Centineo’s acting career.
Noah Centineo is Netflix’s go to Actor if they have a romcom movie. Whenever they need a leading man for a teen romance movie, he will always be the top of their list. From the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy to the The Perfect Date,he always gets the lead male roles.
Centineo’s frequent film appearances make him a valuable promotional asset for Netflix. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen complications, he was unable to play the role of He-man. This would have his first theatrical movie role and first superhero role. He finally get his first Theatrical release Superhero movie with Black Adam, where he plays the character of Atom Smasher. He is not the lead but hey it is a privilege to be in a film that is currently earning $368.2 million in the box office.
Netflix’s increased confidence in him was evident in the form of his first TV series. In The Recruit,He is not playing a teen-aged boy or college kid this time.

Owen Hendricks, portrayed by Noah Centineo, is an employee for the CIA. However, he is not some formidable badass secret agent. He is an eccentric and nerdy lawyer who likes to be in the office. Owen is not interested to part in dangerous missions. He just want a simple job on the cubicle.
Unfortunately his life is about to change for the worst.He discovers a threatening letter written by an ex-asset named Max Meladze one day. She threatens the agency with public exposure unless they exonerate her of a major crime, as detailed in the letter. As Owen travels the world in pursuit of his assignment and a place in CIA history, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous and often absurd web of power politics and mischievous players. There are many nefarious people and intrigues in this world. Now he got entangled with once of the most dangerous conspiracies.
