THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH reboot of a David Bowie cult hit
THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH has been reimagined into a Tv series. It is a reboot of an adaptation of a novel of the influential novel of the same name but modernized. The original is about an alien who landed on Earth to bring water back from his planet. His home planet is experiencing a drought. That one didn’t age well since Europa, Callisto, Ganymede, and Enceladus might be a better source of water than Earth. This remake might change that plot as this new version now focuses on an Alien who must confront his own past.
The original film starred Rock legend David Bowie. THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH was not a box office hit but it has a cult following. It has a resurgence after the death of the music icon. Bowie’s performance in that film is the reason he was cast as the lead in the film The Prestige.
Now Chiwetel Ejiofor takes over for the role of Faraday, an Alien who goes to Earth for a mission that can help his planet but at what cause? Ejiofor is no David Bowie but he is a Season and Award-winning actor who can give Justice to the role and make it his own.
Faraday will patent inventions and technology from his planet and sell them to Earthlings. That will turn him into a technology-based conglomerate that will make billions from the technologies he will introduce.
