The Blind Prophet Receives Demo, Release Date
Earlier this summer French studio Ars Goetia Games launched the Kickstarter campaign for their point-and-click adventure, The Blind Prophet. The campaign was a success with 130% of the team’s financial goal met, enough to guarantee a multi-lingual translation.
You play as the apostle Bartholomeus, sent on a heavenly mission to weed out the evil that lies in the heart of the corrupt city of Rotbork. The mature stoyline is accented by a unique scratchy hand-drawn art style meant to evoke a comic book.
Now Ars Goetia has released a demo for The Blind Prophet. The demo takes 30 to 40 minutes to play in its entirety, Ars Goetia estimates. The final game should take five or six hours to complete.
- Traditional Point & Click mechanics.
- Mind-bending puzzles.
- A world full of charismatic characters ready to talk and interact with.
- Ethical choices that drive the narration.
- Comic art-style cinematics.
- A strong storyline about philosophy, redemption and moral struggle.

That was the other bit of news Ars Goetia had for everyone today…they’ve announced the release date for the PC version will be December 10, 2019. Nintendo Switch, Pplaystation 4, Xbox One, Mac, Android and iOS versions are also in the works, but they will take a little longer.
