Terror Films Launches AVOD Channel In January
Soon you won’t have to hunt for an app to watch movies from Terror Films. The horror distributor is getting into the AVOD game with its own YouTube channel in which patrons can pay for access to Terror’s latest titles — and two of them will kick off the channel’s birth.
On January 14, Terror will launch the channel with Last Radio Call. One year ago, an officer responded to a disturbance at the abandoned Yorktown Memorial Hospital — and never returned. Ever since, his wife has been determined to find out what happened to him, and she’s entering the hospital herself — with a film crew — to discover the truth. This being a horror movie, it isn’t pretty. Last Radio Call stars Sarah Froelich, Jason Scarbough, June Griffin Garcia, Ali Alkhafaji, KeeKee Takatsuki, Bert Lopez, and Makayla Rodriguez. It was written and directed by Isaac Rodriguez, and produced by him alongside Cynthia Bergen.
One week later, you can look for Evil At The Door on January 21. They call themselves The Locusts, and for reasons unclear, they invade a random dwelling once every year, stay inside for three hours and terrorize anyone living there. This night, young couple Daniel and Jessica are unlucky enough to get the visitors…but what The Locusts don’t know is that Jessica’s younger sister is hiding in the house. Also, one of the Locusts may be working against the rest of them. Is that enough to help Dan and Jess survive? Evil At The Door stars Bruce Davison, Andrea Sweeney Blanco, Robert Allen Mukes, Kipp Tribble, Kenny Yates, Sunny Doench and Richard Siegelman, and was written and directed by Kipp Tribble.
Both these films will be available next month on the Terror Films Channel in addition to the Terror YouTube channel.
