Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Launches in April
Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment have confirmed the release details for the next DC Universe animated movie, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. The film will arrive on Blu-ray Deluxe Gift Set, a Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD on April 18. The upcoming animated film is inspired by the beloved 1984 story arc by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
The Blu-ray Giftset pack will have an SRP of $39.99. The Combo Pack Blu-ray release will be priced at $24.98. The vanilla DVD release is $19.98. The Blu-ray Combo Pack will feature the movie on Blu-ray, a DVD, and a digital download version for UltraViolet. The Blu-ray Deluxe Edition will have all those features and a Blue Beetle figurine. The Digital HD release hits two weeks earlier on April 4.
The team of Nightwing, Star Fire, Beast Boy, Raven, Blue Beetle and Robin welcome a new teammate in the mysterious Terra. Brother Blood has been awakened, and a foe by the name of Deathstroke is also lurking in the shadows looking to strike back. The Teen Titans will have to face their enemies along with their own self-doubts in order to overcome the forces that are rising against them. The film is directed by Sam Liu from a script by Ernie Altbacker.
The cast will feature Christina Ricci as the voice of Terra, and the late Miguel Ferrer will voice Deathstroke. Returning voice actors include Sean Maher as Nightwing, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, and Stuart Allan as Robin/Damian Wayne. Also, Gregg Henry voices Brother Blood.
