Young Justice: Outsiders Gets Official Trailer

Young Justice was a show that truly died too quickly. As part of DC Nation on Cartoon Network, it was met with a lot of fan and critic acclaim. Yet, as noted by many who worked on the project, because of a lack of toy sales, the show was canceled after two seasons. Even though the show was even more beloved, and the show ended on a cliffhanger. Ever since, fans have been begging for a third season, and beyond. Thankfully, they got their wish, and Young Justice: Outsiders was revealed to be coming to DC Universe. DC Universe is the upcoming streaming service from DC Comics, and it’ll feature exclusive content, including the third season of the show. Much art has been shown off for the upcoming third season, but now, via San Diego Comic-Con, we have our first look at the show’s return. You’ll have to skip a little bit, as the trailer recaps a lot of the main plot points of Season 02, but then, we get a look

DC Comics Streaming Service Officially Named DC Universe

DC Comics has been stating for a while now that they were going to be releasing a streaming service all their own. One that would house certain programming that wouldn’t be on stations like Fox, CW, or Syfy. Well, today they revealed that the streaming service itself would be called DC Universe. Which is actually quite apropos, as that’s a name that’s been associated for DC Comics for quite some time. Shows that are already guaranteed to come to the DC Universe is the live-action Titans TV show, the return of the animated series Young Justice, a live-action series named Metropolis (staring Lex Luthor and Lois Lane), and animated Harley Quinn series (voiced by live-action counterpart Margot Robbie), and now, we can add a live-action Swamp Thing series that’ll be co-produced by Aquaman director James Wan. SDCC 2017: Young Justice Team Talks Third Season

Young Justice was a show that got canceled far too soon. Despite an incredible fan following, it was ultimately toy sales that doomed the show, and fans demanded more episodes. Finally, 5 years after the second season ended, we got confirmation of the return of the show, and at San Diego Comic Con, the team showed up to talk about the third season. The new season will air on a special streaming service that DC Comics is creating, and the team noted the major differences between production there, and on Cartoon Network where the series originally aired: “There’s more creative room here for more adult themes and more sophisticated and challenging stories for our characters. We have a little more room to write for that now.” Said Brandon Vietti. As for how long the series will be, the plan is for 26 episodes, but some have not been written yet. 12 are done so far apparently. Young Justice Gets Third Season

Young Justice was for many the peak of storytelling in regards to DC Comics characters. Blending a young team with the classic Justice League as their guides, deep villains and storylines, and plenty of twists and turns, it was something to behold. Until it got cancelled after two seasons. However, years after its end, fans worked and pleaded for Cartoon Network, or even Netflix to bring it back. Now, it’s been officially revealed that Young Justice is getting a third season. One of the greatest crimes in television is when a show that has such a good grip on its premise, with characters that fans adore and love, and a story that continues to grow, evolve, and build…gets cancelled. Too many shows have had this unfortunate fate. One in recent years that fans still yearn for is Young Justice. The DC Comics show aired on Cartoon Network for two seasons before being cancelled to the horror of fans. Yet, despite this, fans still want a third season.
