Chimera Pigs are pigs are real now. They use to be a Science fiction fantasy but these genetically modified hogs exist now. Looking back at my family history, Most of my elderly relatives who passed away died of Organ failure. Trying to find an organ donor is a struggle for people. Yes, some people donate their organs for people in need but the majority of Organ donors are still alive. Their organs are only harvested if they died from an accident or any cause. Another problem is that not all people have the same blood type. Even if there is an abundance of Kidney donors, if they don’t have the same blood type, their donations are not compatible with the people in need. There is a long list of patients who needs organs but they are still waiting because they can’t have a match.
