Mandy Rose (Amanda Rose Saccomanno in real life) was fired just 24 hours after losing the NXT Women’s Championship. Knowing their long-term plans for her, this news comes as a surprise. She is the most successful alumna of her Tough Enough Season. Despite finishing second in that reality competition, Mandy’s career has been more successful than the winners’. WWE signed her to a five-year, $1 million contract, and she stayed with them for nearly ten years. She had highs and lows, but when she returned to NXT to revitalize her career, it flourished. While serving as the NXT Women’s Champion, she led the dominant Wrestling Stable Toxic Attraction for 413 days. Toxic Attraction is the most successful female group in WWE history because they won every belt in NXT simultaneously. Soon, you’ll be able to read all about the man’s life once Source Point Press publishes “BUTTS IN SEATS,” a biographical comic. The graphic novel, ten chapters in length, will feature the work of various artists including DJ Coffman (SECRET FORCES), Sally Scott (NIGHTMARE WORLD), John Marroquin (NIGHTMARE WORLD), Les Garner (APOCALYPSE GIRL), Jan Apple (BURIED BUT NOT DEAD), Colm Griffin (OCEAN CITY), Scott James (JUICEMAN), Josh Ross (TALES OF MR. During the late 1980s, the World Wrestling Federation had a Superstar whose fame and popularity reached supernova levels… then quickly faded away  He was born James Hellwig, but in reality was a warrior – in fact, he was the Ultimate Warrior.  Fans of a certain age will remember Vince McMahon screaming “THE ULLLLLTIMATE WARRIOR” in his famous growl. The WWE Network – A Potential Game Changer?

World Wrestling Entertainment announced plans to launch a 24/7 linear streaming channel dedicated to their popular worldwide brand of sports entertainment, or as we tend to call it, professional wrestling.  The WWE Network goes live on February 24 immediately following their popular prime-time showcase, Monday Night RAW. In addition to the streaming channel, the WWE Network will have a large video-on-demand service where fans can access documentaries, original programming, classic matches, pay-per-views, and network programming from the WWE, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) libraries. The network is promising at least 1500 hours of VOD programming at launch, which is quite impressive.
