The Humble Store have launched their latest Humble Bundle, giving users the chance to get access to a number of high-profile games for a heavily discounted price. This includes Grim Fandango Remastered, Her Story, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. As is usual, most of the games are available without DRM protection and are available for both Windows and Mac. A few of the titles can also be played on Linux.
Reviewing the latest Worms release can often be a tricky task. After all, Team17 has been creating games in this series for almost 20 years and despite all the significant changes they have made in the intervening years, such as forays into 3D, different worm classes and adding new water-based physics, most fans simply want a return to the good old days of Worms Armageddon. So while the last few instalments in the series may have missed the mark somewhat, the developers seem to have gone back to their roots with Worms W.M.D in an attempt to create the ultimate 2D artillery game.
The Osedax family of bone-eating worms is already pretty strange. The females attach to whale and other bones through snot like structures and devour them. And the males? The males are microscopic dwarfs that live by the hundreds inside the female’s body.
British developer Team 17 are offering Worms Reloaded for free for the weekend, as well as offering a few more sales for Her Majesty’s diamond jubilee.
