Heroes of the Storm brings characters from all the major Blizzard franchises together for epic fights and wars. But now, one of the greatest threats to the Nexus has come. Straight from World of Warcraft, it’s Kel’thuzad. This assassin character has some very interesting abilities, and what’s more, Kel’thuzad will be featured in an event for Heroes of the Storm. Nothing official has been announced as of yet in regards to a release date, but there’s rumors that it’ll be soon, and that we’ll find out more soon.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the creation of a book-publishing label, Blizzard Publishing, dedicated to developing and releasing new Blizzard publications and reissuing out-of-print titles in the company’s Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® settings, directly and through ongoing global partnerships. Each of Blizzard’s game universes has been inhabited by millions of players worldwide, and Blizzard Publishing will help maintain the lore and legacy of the company’s earliest novels and manga while also providing a variety of new ways for people to engage with Blizzard’s rich worlds and characters. Several of Blizzard Publishing’s upcoming releases will be available in multiple formats, such as print, audiobook, and e-book.
It is now possible for those playing any of Blizzard Entertainment’s modern titles to stream their footage directly to Facebook. The news means that users will be able to share their gameplay with their friends using Facebook Live, in an exclusive arrangement between the two companies.
The sequel to Dark Horse and Blizzard Entertainments popular World of Warcraft series is getting a sequel. Announced at SDCC, World of Warcraft Chronicle Vol.2 will delve deeper into the world of Azeroth, and will be released in 2017.
World of Warcraft: Legion is getting some big changes to it’s PVP gameplay, as experienced players will now be given “Honor Points”, which will allow you to gain special rewards, including gold, Artifacts, and “Honor Talent”. Battle.net describes this new ability:
For video games, it was once believed that MMO games would be the true wave of the future, spurred on by the original Everquest and the legendary World of Warcraft. However, as time went on and more MMOs were made, it seemed like more MMO games failed rather than succeeded. It got to the point where MMO-like games weren’t called MMOs anymore. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will support crossplay and contain all of the same features that are on the versions currently available on PC, Mac and tablets. Lead designer Eric Dodds has revealed in an interview with Gamespot that smartphone users will experience the same game as other players and will be able to compete with others who are using any other version of the game.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available on Android devices. A limited release in countries such as Canada and Australia was made available earlier in the week, but the title is now available on Android devices worldwide. Unfortunately, much like the iOS version of the game, it is currently only available on tablets. Users will need a device with a screen size of at least 6-inches in order to download the game from the Play Store. Blizzard have made it clear though that they are working on smartphone versions of Hearthstone and hope to have them out by early next year.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’s first expansion will bring with it more than 100 additional cards. The card game, based on the World of Warcraft universe, already has around 500 different cards but Blizzard wants to ensure that users do not get bored with Hearthstone due to a slow pace in releasing new content.
