Will Smith Should be celebrating tonight because he won Best Actor in a motion picture. His performance in King Richard finally won him the elusive awards. He had been robbed of winning the Oscars throughout the years. I still believe he deserved an Oscar when he got nominated for The Pursuit of Happiness. However, that prestige and recognition got covered up by the controversy. People thought it was scripted at first, but it is accurate. The man who was known to be chill finally lost his cool when Chris Rock made a Joke out of Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair. Rock, Shaded her by saying she will be starring in a G.I Jane 2. G.I Jane is a Demi Moore film where the actress shaved off her hair because she plays a female navy seal.
Bel-air is the reboot of the show that made Will Smith a household name. Yes, this is a reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-air. Will Smith who originally played Will Smith will be one of the executive producers of this TV series. There is a chance that people who are not familiar with the sitcom will mistake this as a biopic.
We now know what Will Smith will look and sound like when he appears as Genie in Disney’s Aladdin remake. Are you truly ready?
Entertainment Weekly has published the first photos from Disney’s upcoming Aladdin remake, set for May 24, 2019. Despite the movie being due in six months, no one knew what it’d look like until today.
A very sad trend in film and TV as of late is the idea that “reviews are everything”. For if you have a terrible review, or series of reviews, or aggregate score on something like Rotten Tomatoes, then your project is a failure. That’s wrong on many ways, but it is something weighs on certain directors. One of which was David Ayer, who was the director behind the financially successful, but critically panned, Suicide Squad. Then, he got hired to make a Netflix original movie called Bright.
So this is me, reading the recent announcement about Warner Brothers casting a Suicide Squad film:
Uh oh, it looks like Legendary Pictures is back to square one. It has been reported that Will Smith has decided to drop out of sci-fi movie Brilliance. The film is set to be directed by Julius Onah (The Girl is in Trouble, Big Man), and David Koepp (War of the Worlds, Jurassic Park, Spider-Man) is serving as the screenwriter.
