Warren Ellis Talks Return of WildStorm
The DC Comics label isn’t just one line. In fact, at one time, there were several imprints, or separate comic universes, that were under said label. One of which was the fan-favorite WildStorm universe. Which is where characters like Stormwatch, Grifter, and more were born. But, when Flashpoint ended, DC Comics decided to merge the two universe together. What this led to was a true merging of universe. To the extent that the New 52, and to an extent DC Rebirth, was filled with WildStorm characters. But, it wasn’t all good news. While some characters did thrive, such as Midnighter, a majority had their series cancelled, or were regulated to camoes or sidestories. Well, now, DC Comics is bringing back WildStorm in a big way starting this Wednesday with a title called “The Wild Storm” which is headed up by comic legend Warren Ellis.
