Watch Quest Shows The Way Forward On Apple Watch
Still skeptical about the idea of playing a video game on a smartwatch? Still laughing at the thought of a balding man waiting for a bus while tapping on his wrist and making weird grunt noises? Maybe that’ll be you soon, because Wayforward Technologies is getting into it. And that purple-haired woman sure looks familiar. Wayforward has announced Watch Quest, to be available April 24, as one of the first video games to be made for Apple Watch. They thought about the impracticality of that tiny screen and came up with a solution: the game also runs on the iPhone while the wrist version acts as a supplement that you can play in short bursts wherever you find time. Their official description provides more details: Gameplay revolves around choosing a hero and equipping them on the iPhone, and then guiding the Hero via the Apple Watch as he or she travels lands, battles monsters, solves puzzles, and searches for treasures. Players are invited to play passively by selecting longer, easier
