Max’s Warrior Promoted With Interactive Street Murals
Warrior, the kung-fu action series inspired by the filmography of Bruce Lee, has returned for a third season, though not where it began. The series started as a Cinemax original, and the first two seasons debuted there, but in January of 2020 Cinemax halted all original programming development and Warrior was left hanging. HBO Max picked it up for a third season, and all this time and one company name change later, it finally premiered yesterday in its new home along with the previous two seasons. But you don’t have to just watch Warrior….you can live it! Sort of. To promote the series, Max has placed three interactive murals somewhere in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City. Each one is a painted image of Lee in front of elements that bridge the gap between Chinese and American history. What makes them interactive? AR technology.
