WarnerMedia’s Spring Sci-Fi Cable Movie Lineup
WarnerMedia owns TNT, TBS and HBO, and this spring, they’re teaming up to deliver a bounty of on-demand movies for sci-fi lovers. They sent us the list this morning….here are the movies you can currently get on-demand that fall in the sci-fi genre. Our recommendations: besides the obvious classics, The Abyss still isn’t on Blu-ray and at this rate never will be, so here’s the only way to see it in 1080p. And speaking of Cameron films, Alita: Battle Angel deserves a lot more respect. (It was originally going to have his full involvement, but he had to choose between it and Avatar, and passed the directing duties to someone else.) Also, if you want a good MST3K-style laugh, The Island is a very mockable Bay film.
