Warning, there will be some minor spoilers in this story for Batman Arkham Knight. During the Sony PlayStation E3 Press Conference, a new gameplay trailer was revealed for Batman Arkham Knight, which actually featured the opening cinematic sequence for the game. The opening features quite interestingly with The Joker. Don’t worry, he’s still dead, or so we think. The Joker’s diseased and dead corpse from Batman Arkham City is sent to the oven to get cremated. Then Commissioner Gordon begins a voice-over monologue. He outright says “This is the story of how Batman died.” This was one of the earlier spoiler leaks, suggesting that Batman would meet his end. However, much like in The Dark Knight Rises, it could obviously be a fake out death, but ultimately time will tell.
