The CW already has an incredible amount of live-action shows, and it’s going to get bigger with Black Lightning during the midseason break. However, they’re also doing animated series via their online service CWSeed, and it all started with Vixen. This show has had two seasons online, but now, via a very special event, it’ll come to the CW itself for a 2-hour broadcast this Wednesday.
The sole animated show in the DC/CW lineup, Vixen, is getting a second season this fall via CWSeed. Although it will be her grandmother that will be Vixen in Season 02 of Legends of Tomorrow.

The Arrowverse as it is called made a huge bid to try and expand its hero ranks this year, as it began the process of creating the “Legends of Tomorrow”, and introduced a new series via the CW’s webseries Vixen, based on the popular DC character.
