CBILAB Studios, an indie game studio from Istanbul, is about to introduce ManMade, a VR compatible adventure game set in an AI-ruled dystopian world. Although it’s being marketed as a VR game, ManMade can also be played on the PC with your plain ol’ 2D monitor.
Lidderdalei Productions has announced their sci-fi action thriller 2047: Virtual Revolution, which was distributed last January through DVD by Wild Eye Releasing, will be available digitally for the first time starting June 12.
The indie studio Altergaze has been working on a new VR title, iNFLiCTED, for about a year now. As a soul stuck in Purgatory, your sole (or, “soul”) mission is to find a way out through any means possible. iNFLiCTED isn’t the type of game you see every day — in addition to it being VR, the title shifts between FIVE different gameplay mechanics:
The Rick and Morty virtual reality game is now available on Sony’s PlayStation VR. The title, which has previously been exclusive to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, sees players take on the role of a clone Morty as they carry out the bidding of the whacky scientist Rick Sanchez.
Earlier we told you about ARK Park, Snail Games’ dinosaur park simulator that lets you roam around a manmade prehistoric tourist attraction without getting eaten, chased, zapped with an electric fence or sneezed on. Compatible with all major VR gaming platforms, ARK Park lets you interact with over 100 dinosaur species across six different environmental biomes, each with their own unique weather, foliage, etc. It also supports multiplayer, so if you know anyone with a VR headset you can take a trip to ARK Park together.
Did you ever think about extracting dinosaur DNA from amber and creating your own island theme park full of dinosaurs? The next best thing would be a fake dinosaur park created in virtual reality — and Snail Games’ new ARK Park provides just that.
You have to give director Robert Rodriguez credit for dipping outside Hollywood norms, and his latest project may be the craziest one yet. He’s working on a new TV series….except it’s not really for television. When is a TV show not a TV show? When it’s meant to be transmitted through VR goggles only.

While PC players were left without the prospect of getting their hands on Rock Band 4 following an unsuccessful crowdfunding campaign by Harmonix, those with VR hardware will be able to rock out with plastic instruments in the very near future. Rock Band VR is a title developed by the studio that is set to launch on March 23 for Oculus Rift. Players will need to have the Oculus Touch motion controller as well as a Rock Band 4 console guitar to play the game, though.
With the current push towards virtual reality technology in gaming, thanks to the ever-growing popularity of the medium, more and more publishers and developers are looking to make their titles compatible with VR devices. The latest to throw their hat into the ring is Sega, who recently confirmed that they are considering supporting VR headsets with some of their titles – including the critically acclaimed Alien: Isolation.
Virtual reality looks set to be the future of gaming, however new details released by Sony about the PlayStation VR reveal that you’ll need plenty of space to let it work effectively. According to new documentation released by the company, the headset will require around 60 square feet of cleared space to work effectively- otherwise the experience will be somewhat compromised.
