Genndy Tartakovsky Finally Gives Hope For Sym-Bionic Titan Fans
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Unicorn: Warriors Eternal premieres this Thursday. It’s the latest in a long line of top-quality action cartoons created by the man of Russian descent: Samurai Jack, Primal, and somewhere in the middle, Sym-Bionic Titan. That latter one doesn’t get talked about as much, but I saw the whole thing when it was new and trust me — it’s really good. But unlike Genndy’s other shows, it was cut down in its prime. Only one season of Sym-Bionic Titan was made before CN cancelled the show, allegedly from low toy sales even though no toys were actually made. The story was going somewhere, but it was aggravatingly left unresolved. Genndy hasn’t really spoken about Titan since its cancellation many years ago. Today he finally did, in a new interview with the website Polygon. “I want to finish Titan,” Tartakovsky says. “We wrote 10 more episodes; there’s more to finish and yes, I would want to do that. It’s just nobody’s letting me do it just yet.” There’s a catch
