The Witcher 3: Complete Edition is out on Nintendo Switch! They’ve done the impossible and shrunken EVERYTHING into a Switch game card: the entire original campaign, the two expansions, and the mountains of DLC…it’s all in there, and portable!

Geralt and his friends are getting shrunk down to Switch size this fall: CD Projekt Red and Saber Interactive (the ones making this version of the game) have confirmed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will become available for Nintendo’s handheld October 15.
The Gwent Open officially kicked off this weekend. The competition concerned eight professional eSports members from all over the world, competing for a slice of the $25,000 prize pool, plus Crown Points — the ranking points of the Witcher Card Game’s official esports series.
It’s become a tradition for Namco’s Soul Calibur series to include special guests. Today the company revealed they’ve partnered up with world-renowned game studio CD Projekt Red to bring over Geralt, main character of The Witcher 3, to the Soul Calibur tournament. He’ll bring over his Witcher powers from his own game, and he’ll be voiced by Doug Cockle, who voiced him in The Witcher 3.
Within the blockbuster game The Witcher 3, players were introduced to Gwent, a popular card game in that world. Eventually Gwent was turned into a separate game, and now comes the next step: the Gwent competitive tournament.
Those who have played The Witcher 3 know of Gwent, the card game Gerald can play in multiple locations within the larger game. Since it was plausible for Gwent to be produced as an actual card game….it was. Now it’s time for all that practice to pay off, as a real-life Gwent Tournament has been announced.
This week marks the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition. After a fantastic year or so since the launch of the game, CD Projekt RED now gets a complete version of the game that features all the updates, improvements, downloadable content and expansion packs for The Witcher 3, all in one, spiffy new edition. To go along with that, CD Projekt RED released a new developer video diary this week, showcasing the making of the game’s music and sound, below.
CD Projekt RED revealed some new details and the very first screenshots for the next major DLC expansion for 2015’s Game of the Year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will be Blood and Wine. The new screenshots present the new region for the game of Toussaint. While the last expansion, Hearts of Stone, had some new locations and areas to discover in the existing maps, Blood and Wine will offer a completely new country to explore with Toussaint.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the biggest hits of gaming of the year. And the hits are still to come. Recently, developer CD Projekt RED released the game’s first massive expansion with Hearts of Stone last October. The next expansion for the game, Blood and Wine is due out next year. The Witcher 3 Game Director Konrad Tomaskiewicz recently released a statement on the wild success of The Witcher 3 this year, and CD Projekt Red released a new “epic” trailer featuring a lot of the game’s amazing money shots, which you can check out below.
Next week, CD Projekt Red will be dropping the first major downloadable content expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Hearts of Stone. However, the developer will first released a major game patch, Patch 1.10, for the game. This will be a rather large patch that will even add some additional content and dialogue options for the game. Today, CD Projekt RED revealed all the notes and log for the various fixes and changes for Patch 1.10. All together, there are over 600 changes in this massive patch.
