HBO’s The Nevers has to be one of the unluckiest TV shows in recent memory, and definitive proof it’s impossible to predict how a Hollywood project will turn out. It premiered with great fanfare in early 2021. At this point series creator Joss Whedon was just starting to lose his sterling reputation, but he had bailed on the series mid-production anyway, so it didn’t seem like that connection would harm the show too much.
To everyone who dismissed the anguish from animation fans over what HBO Max was doing last summer, and commented “they’ll never remove the important stuff, as in the stuff I personally care about”….how do you feel NOW? We warned you nothing was safe. Variety reports wicked emperor David Zaslav is about to remove the HBO hit Westworld from HBO Max, and of course the company won’t tell you when, just that it’s soon.
Godzilla Vs. Kong premieres in theaters and on HBO Max tomorrow, as you’ve likely heard. One day after that will be the beginning of April, and the streamer has plenty in store for the next 30 days.
