Mark Hamill Changed Many Parts Of Key The Last Jedi Scenes
There’s been a lot of controversy about what Star Wars The Last Jedi did and did not do. One thing that most agree though is that the “ending” scene featuring Luke Skywalker coming to his sister Leia’s aid and distracting Kylo Ren enough for them to escape was very powerful. Especially when Luke got to meet with his sister for the first time in the new trilogy, because the actress playing her, Carrie Fisher, died after the film was finished.

Deleted Scene From The Last Jedi Reveals Different Take On Finn/Phasma Battle
Star Wars The Last Jedi was controversial for many people. Though it was praised for certain story beats, certain characters, certain twists, etc., not everything came off well. One of the things many agree they did wrong was killing off Captain Phasma. Phasma was heavily promoted in The Force Awakens, yet had only 5 minutes on screen. When she was teased for The Last Jedi, it seemed like she’d have more of a role. Turns out, she didn’t, at all.

The Last Jedi Home Release Will Include Fan-Desired Scene
Whether you liked Star Wars The Last Jedi or not, you have to admit it had many scenes which were awe-inspiring and paradigm breaking. However, it also had some scenes that felt cut off, and fans were quick to notice. One of them being that Luke Skywalker asked about where Han Solo was, only for the scene to cut away and not show him grieving, or anyone grieving in that matter. However, this won’t be the case in the home release of the film.

J.J. Abrams Isn’t Moved By The Last Jedi Haters, Especially Those That Hated The Female Characters
Star Wars The Last Jedi was both one of the most hyped Star Wars films…and one of the most divisive. The decisions made in the film by Rian Johnson has polarized the fanbase in a way that not even the prequels did. What’s worse though is how far these polarized fans have gone in order to “fix things. Last year, a fan decided to “fix the problem” by making a revision of the script…that basically made every woman in the film irrelevant or powerless.

There Was “No Place” In The Last Jedi For Han’s Funeral
One of the things that left fans a bit sad about The Last Jedi was the lack of funeral for fan-favorite character Han Solo, who died by Kylo Ren’s hands in The Force Awakens. True, there wasn’t a body for them to mourn, but the memory of him still needed to be honored in many fans minds. The upcoming novelization of the film will feature the funeral scene, and that has excited debate about why the film doesn’t have it.

Where Were The Knights Of Ren In The Last Jedi?
To say that Star Wars The Last Jedi was divisive is an understatement in nearly every sense of the word. Many fans felt that the film didn’t live up to the hype it was presented with (or the 92% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes). Moreso, they felt that certain characters were given the shaft, and that the plot was full of holes and unanswered questions. Many were about the heroes, but some were about the villains.

Fan Creates “De-Feminized” Cut Of The Last Jedi, Cast Reacts With Laughter
There’s an old saying (and an old song) that goes “you can’t please everyone, so you, got to please yourself.” This phrase carries a lot of weight, especially in this world we live in right now. A world where people get ganged up on if their opinion doesn’t match others. Or if a person like a TV show, or film, and others think it’s terrible, then surely the former person is “wrong.” Star Wars: The Last Jedi had a very divisive reaction amongst fans, but some took it REALLY far.

Star Wars Director Explains “Black Cave” From The Last Jedi
Whether you liked or hated Star Wars The Last Jedi, you can’t deny that there were some very interesting moments and scenes. One of them concerned Rey’s “training” at the hands of Luke Skywalker. Early on, she sensed a place of great darkness on the island of Ach-To. This “black cave” was later visited by Rey later on as she tried to search for an answer to who she was.
