Horror Series The Dead Hour Premieres May 12
Most creators of low-budget indie horror movies prefer to stay in that lane, but Terror Films has decided to get a little bold. They’ll soon be introducing their very first TV series, The Dead Hour, on digital platforms. Created by Daniel B. Iske & Scott Coleman, The Dead Hour is an anthology series starring the voice of Melissa Holder as a “twisted radio announcer” who introduces one creepy story to her listening audience every night. This frame is used to present a variety of short horror stories, each with a different cast. Iske and Coleman say they were looking to the classic series The Twilight Zone for inspiration — a show that itself could get spooky at times. “For over a year we would come up with hundreds of short story ideas before finally narrowing it down to the dozen or so that we wanted to do first.
