CounterAttack Uprising Launches Today On Switch
Developer Relative Games’ customizable shmup, CounterAttack Uprising, was originally a PC exclusive when it launched in 2019. Since then console versions of the game have sprouted up gradually, first on XBox and now, today, on Switch. New additions to the Switch version include two new levels (Anomaly and Gate), a redesigned player selector, 25 new attachments and a lot of bug fixes. CounterAttack Uprising is your typical bullet-hell shooter, but with a “customizable” twist that means you have the ability to choose from eight different characters, each with their own unique ship: , Ayumi (Tactical Nuke), Biff (Big Biff Beam), Marcus (Meson Shockwave), Joe (Overcharge), Sarah (Quantium Shield), Sloane (Fighter Squadron), Carl (Plasma Strike) and Jinx (Hack Wave). But it doesn’t stop there. As you play the game, you’ll unlock new weapons, powers and upgrades, and can modify your ship any way you like. There are over 600 attachments to find, meaning no two games will be the same. “Being on a Nintendo console is a dream come true,” says
