As we speak, millions of people are cracking up from Cabin Fever in their own quarantined homes. Vincent J. Roth (remember, the “Surge of Power” guy?) feels he can do something about it. He’s been working on a new short about one of his favorite subjects, Doctor Who…and he was planning some kind of public social premiere, but there are more urgent matters now.

We’ve been following Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel since it was first announced for theatrical screenings. The one thing the majority of our readers haven’t been able to do is actually see the film — it’s only been touring a limited number of cities. That has now changed with the official home video release of the movie.
If you missed Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel in theaters, then you’re like 99% of most Americans, as the movie had an extremely limited screening (being an indie creation, it comes with the territory). The good news is that it didn’t take long for the film to reach other avenues, and it’s downloadable on Amazon Instant Video starting today.
Cinema’s first out gay superhero, Surge is jumping back into adventure with big laughs in Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, which I reviewed for Popgeeks.net here. The comic book style adventure was a lot of fun and so I sought out an interview with Surge of Power Creator, Vincent J Roth to find out how he managed to handle combining 50 celebrity cameos and message about acceptance into his latest feature. Let’s jump into the Surgemobile and see what we find!
Earlier this month we told you about Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, the superhero parody movie from director Vincent J. Roth. Now we know exactly when and where the film is opening.
Not too long ago, Vincent J. Roth created his own cinematic superhero, Surge, and an action-comedy movie for him to star in: Surge of Power: The Stuff of Heroes. Surge was a first for superhero movies in that he is openly gay, a threshold neither Marvel nor DC have gotten around to crossing yet. Now Surge is returning in a second film appropriately titled Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, and he’s brought along a giant heap of all-stars from superhero and horror franchises.
