Could Ben Affleck’s First Solo Batman Feature Be Based On “Under The Red Hood”?
It’s not secret that DC and WB are incredibly impressed with what Ben Affleck is doing as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. As they’ve tailored the film to have more scenes with him, and rumors are going on about not only a trio of Batfleck movies, but with Affleck being the director of them all. Or at least the first one. Now, rumors are flying that the first solo film for Affleck’s Batman will be based on the classic Batman story, “Under The Red Hood”. Which features the return/resurrection of former Robin Jason Todd. Who died at the hands of the Joker, who is already in the new movie universe via Suicide Squad and Jared Leto. For those fearful that this would be a “direct” retelling of the story, apparently that won’t be the case, as the rumor (and this is still rumor) from JoBlo states: “the basic plotline of Affleck’s solo Batfilm is that Jason Todd has returned from the grave as the
